You are not a failure

You are not a failure
By Adenuga Sunday Joseph

The best secret that you can ever find out is this, that ‘God is a good God’. When you discover this secret and you believe so much in it, then you are not far from success. Everything that you can ever desire on earth can only be yours because God is good. The Bible says in Psalm 118:1,
“…. For the Lord is good and His mercies endureth forever”.

Equal Time

God gives every human being on earth the same time, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. No matter how influential or connected, he cannot have more than twenty-four hours a day. God is so good, He gave us the gift of time, and the same time is given to every human being on the face of the earth. What you do with your time determines what you will become in a few years time. If a man waste his time on earth, he will reap the harvest of failure and such men are always blaming God. Stop blaming God for your failure; many fail in life because they did not manage their time well. A wasted time leads to a wasted life, which leads to a failed life.
The first point I want you to note in talking about the goodness of God is to be grateful for the gift of time. What you do with your time will affect the quality of your life.
Spend your time studying about anything and in a few years time, you will become an expert in that thing. If you spend a good time studying the word of God, the result will be a rub off of God on you. The word of God is God John 1:1; you must also realize that the word of God is the work of God. Anytime the word of God is spoken, the work of God follows. For example, when the word of God came forth and said “let there be light” the work of God follows and the result is “and there was light”.
Another example, when Peter said to the man sitting at the beautiful gate of the temple; “Silver and gold have I none, but such as I have give I thee; in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk”. Then the work of God follows, “the man was walking and leaping and praising God”.
What am I trying to infer? Anytime you provoke the word of God, the work of God is inevitable. When you spend your time in the word of God, the work of God will be evident in your life. When you are full of the Holy Spirit and the word of God, the work of God will have free course in your life because the word of God is the carrier of the work of God. That is the reason it is impossible to do the work of God without the proper understanding of the word of God. Those ministers who claim they are doing God’s work and are not students of the word, I wonder the kind of work thy are doing for God. I don’t do any work for God until I speak the word of God, when I speak the word of God, then the work of God will be manifested. Mine is to speak the word of God, God’s is to confirm the word with signs. These signs are the works of God, and it is only God that can do His work. All I do is speak; He does His work of healing, blessing, deliverance, salvation, protection etc. I cannot heal anybody, but I can speak the word of God to your life and the word will produce the work of healing in your life if you believe. I cannot make you wealthy, but I can speak the word of God that gives you power to get wealth. I can speak the word of salvation and the result will be the work of God called salvation. Oh, how I pray that your eyes are opened to see this truth.
Speak the word and the work manifest; it’s as simple as ABC. Many speak the word of God and think that it does not work, the word works friend, keep saying it and never quit saying it. When you speak the word long enough, it produces the work of God and this is the point of miracle. Those who speak get result and those who do not speak the word think that God is partial.
We are talking about the management, what you spend your time doing is what you will become. From now on be careful how you spend your time, you have i68 hours in a week, how do you spend these hours?
If you want to be successful in life spend good time studying the people who have made it, how they did it. Spend your time doing what you really like to accomplish.
God’s sun shines on all and his rain falls on all. God is a good God, he has given us all equal opportunity, and God is not partial. You can be rich, and wealthy, if you choose to be; poverty is by choice. Do you know that no one was born poor or rich? We were all born equally (naked). No one was born with actual silver spoon in his or her mouths; the Bible proves that proverb wrong. Prov. 10:4 says ‘he becometh poor that dealeth with slack hand, but the hands of the diligent maketh rich.’ To become means to turn to something that was not originally. Crude oil was not petrol, it was proccessed and part of it became petrol. When the Bible says he becometh poor that dealeth with slack hands, it means until you become lazy, you cannot become poor. Here it is clear to every intelligent human being that here on earth we are all equal but people become poor if they are lazy and if hardworking they make riches for themselves. I know you will say “what of those born to a rich family?’ yes, they will grow up and they will have to make riches for themselves and if they are not careful, if they are lazy, they will become poor.
I’ve seen many children of rich people die in poverty, languishing in prison, in bondage to hard drugs and some becoming armed robbers. Your family’s wealth will help you to a good start, but when the chips are down, you have to become rich or poor depending on how and what you do with your hands.
Most of the world’s greatest men came from poor families. Being born to a poor family is more of a challenge than a disadvantage. If you see it as a challenge, you will thank God for He is good, and He will help you to make it in life. On the other hand, if you see it as a disadvantage, it is too bad, you will blame God, you will always complain and this leads to failure. We all have equal access to greatness in life. God is very good to all of us.
Dear reader, please believe this you are not a failure, it does not matter what you are going through, see yourself as a success instead.
