You Can’t Get Something for Nothing

Like the great man Napoleon Hill said, "there is no such reality as something for nothing"; this statement is a universal truth. That is why the spirit said come and buy your wine and milk (this is your joy); your water and bread (which is your life and success), somebody must pay for it. It’s like a multi-millionaire business man telling you to go and buy as much thing as you need without (your own) money, going to buy all those things you desire on his account will cost you nothing; but it cost him (the business man) a lot depending on your purchase. You do the buying and you enjoy the product freely but the businessman had paid for the products.

Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ paid the prize. Please note that whatever you will ever need is available, you need no money whatsoever to buy it (them). Jesus has already paid the prize, so go and buy, go for it, the blessings of life is already yours. Thank God, I am alive today and though a prophet warned that my enemies would send the spirit of death to me sometimes ago, it’s now many years ago, the word works, believe the word. Go and buy your wine and oil, the price had been paid on Calvary.

You are here on a Mission

You are in this world on a special mission, you are not here by accident there is a purpose for which you were sent here. We are in this world, many forces are in place here, we have to perfectly understand some vital truth if we must shine in this world. In Isaiah 60:1,2, the bible says
"Arise, shine, for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee".
The bible is God’s word; whatever the bible says is what God is saying for the now. He said, ‘arise, shine …’ if you refuse to arise, then know that it is your fault. God has already said it, ‘Arise’; if another man arises and begins to shine, do not blame God for being partial. The other man rose in obedience but you did not rise up in obedience, and the bible says obedience is better than sacrifice.
The bible says in Mathew 11:12 that
And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of God suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
Making it on earth demands great effort, you need to master life and force it to bow to you. Why is it difficult to have headway in life? Why are many people struggling and working hard and yet failing? Why is it that the strong do not always win? All these questions and more related ones are only explainable by this fact, that devil is the god of this world.

The bible refers to the devil in II Corinthians. 4:4 as the god of this world Jesus referred to him in John 16:11 as the prince of this world. It is very clear to any right thinking man that this world is full of injustice and all evil activities. Who is behind the evils, the wars, the killings, the hunger and thirst etc? It is the devil. The devil is the ruler here on earth. This is influencing many things in this world.
Read carefully, "The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof …" Psalm 24:1. This implies that all the earth and everything in it belongs to God, all the gold, cattle and everything belongs to our God. I pray you will see and understand this, but the devil controls this world, I mean the system of the world. That is the reason we must pray and pray well. The earth in this sense is different from the world.

The devil is not the owner of the earth, but he is the ruler of this world. When Daniel prayed and Angel was sent to bring answer to Daniel, a Prince of Persia (an angel of the devil) withstood the Angel of God for twenty-one days. Can you imagine this, he told Jesus to bow down and worship him after showing him all the glamour of the world system. Jesus did not argue with him, He only spoke the word of God to him. The earth and all the people belong to God, but the devil through deceit has over thrown the man (Adam) who was in charge and he (the devil) is now legally in charge. Man was in charge before, but now as a result of the fall of man, the devil is in charge – get this.

In Ecclesiastes 10:5 – 7
There is an evil, which I have seen under the sun, as an error, which proceedeth from the ruler; Folly is set in great dignity, and the rich sit in low place.
I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking ad servants upon the earth.
The bible calls the scenario above, confusion. It is an error and this error comes from the ruler (of the world, the devil); that some children of God, filled with the Holy Ghost are suffering and enduring serious poverty. It is the devil’s joy to see you in need, poor and dejected; it is the devil’s joy to see you sick and weakly; it is his desire to see you running from pillar to post looking for glaring solution (glaring, because solution to every problem of life is inside you).

If you noticed that your stagnation life is spiritual, if you notice that your problem has defiled every expert solution, the bottom line may be the devil. God is not partial, but the devil is posed to make sure that you very life and effort is frustrated. Now, if you understand this, you are 50% on your way to real lasting success.
