You Are Of God

Of God: -


Consider I John 4:4
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.


When you get born-again, you become of God. You are of God. It means that you are made of God; it does not only mean that you belong to God, it means you hail from God, that you are made of God’s stuff. If I say that the table, upon which I wrote this article, is of tree, I would be correct. Yes, because it is made of wood, and wood comes from trees. The tree was cut, processed and worked on, then, it became a table. With that understanding, you will know, when the Bible says ‘ye are of God’ that something took place to make you ‘a god’.


Adam lost the dominion because the devil came to steal, kill and destroy. Jesus recovered the dominion because He came that we might have life and have it in abundance (John 10-10). When you understand these things, you are on your way to a major victory in life.


Of the devil: -


Consider John 8:44
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there was no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar and father of it.


Before you get born-again, you are of the devil. You hail from the devil; you have the nature of the devil. Now, try and understand this, it doesn’t matter how good you might think you are. Your nature is evil, even though you think you are producing good fruits, your nature disqualifies you. Adam disobeyed God to obey the devil; thereby he lost the nature of God (this is spiritual death) and inherited the nature of the devil. Taking over the nature of the devil is putting on darkness and in this case you cannot rule, you cannot dominate, you cannot be in control. When you are under the dominion of the devil, you are under the influence of the products of the devil. What are the products of the devil?

Products of the devil


The devil is never a creator, but he fakes, counterfeits and corrupts every good thing made by God. Through his acts of deception, and cunningness, he was able to invent sin. Sin is the major product of the devil. He is the first sinner. The other products are by-products of sin. What I mean is this: by-products are those other products that come as a result of sin. They include, fear (as we see in the life of Adam when God came in the cool of the day to fellowship with him Gen. 3:8-10), doubt, physical death, sickness, diseases, poverty and lack, oppression of the devil, sadness etc.


Understanding you:-


If you have not given your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, the truth is that you are a child of the devil. You have the nature of the devil and you must be dominated here on earth by the devil and his products. You are built (by the devil) never to be able to understand who you really are at this point of your life, because the devil knows that if you understand, he will loose you. So get wise and understand this truth. You have the nature of the devil and you cannot but be oppressed by the devil and his demons.
If today, you think about this and you are ready to mend your ways before God. If you repent and turn to God, the Bible says ‘whosoever call upon the name of the Lord, He will in no wise cast out’. No matter what you’ve done, He will not reject you, He will take you in, make you a new creature, give you a new nature – the nature of God.
You need to make this decision now because this article was inspired by God to encourage those who ‘are of God’. If you are not ‘of God’ you may not even understand ‘the you’ that God made.


Receiving Jesus:-


The bible says in John 1:11-13
He came unto His own, and His own received Him not
But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe in His name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Immediately you confess that you are a sinner and invite Jesus Christ into your heart to be your Lord and Savior, something happens. No one can explain the process, but that instance, I mean, immediately; you are changed from ‘of the devil’ to ‘of God’. You become a Son of God, and you will know it in your heart. To become means to turn to what was not e.g. the skin of a goat can be processed and it will become leather. You know that before processing, it was an animal skin, after processing it has become another thing – leather. An expert can explain the processing. The processing from ‘of devil’ to ‘of God’ cannot be explained because it is a spiritual transformation. But you will know it in you, the joy and peace, will make the difference too clear. You cannot know the process but you are required to believe it. Don’t try to understand it, just believe it.
The bible says in Colossians 1:12,13
Giving thanks unto the father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear son.
Two things happened when you received Jesus, first you are delivered from the power of darkness: that is the power of the devil. This means that the devil or his product no longer can dominate you legally. You are by right of standing (spiritually speaking) out of control, out of the domain of devil’s authority. Secondly, you are given power (John 1:12) and this translates you to the kingdom of Jesus. This translation establishes you to enter into a new covenant; it is called the new covenant whereby you are now a child of God. You are not a slave of God, no, you’re not an ordinary servant or creature of no consequence. You become an heir of God, joint heirs with Jesus.

When you become a Son of God, what happens?

Understand this analysis:
A son of Adenuga is one who has the right and privilege to share and enjoy the riches and estate of Adenuga family. I think that is not too difficult to understand. When you become a Son of God, it means that you are entitled to enjoy and share the riches of God (and I tell you, God is rich). Yes, God is rich. Let me analyze this so that you can see a little of God’s riches.
This earth belongs to God and not to the devil as some may think. I know that the world system is under the control of the devil, the kingdoms of this world, the systems of this world is controlled by the devil but the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof Psalm 24:1. The earth is so big some one says you can travel from the earth’s North Pole to the South Pole. But traveling West of the earth, you will keep going for years; infact the ‘thing’ is big. There are so many people, creatures, animals on land, sea etc. so many things under the earth e.g. Gold, Crude oil, Precious Stones etc. But this earth, is not the only thing that God created, He created the universe. The universe is a vast creation of God. Let me explain to you the discovery of science as far as the universe is concern. The universe contains (let me start from this point) about one hundred billion galaxies of stars. Each galaxy contains nothing less than one hundred billion stars. The galaxy we belong, that is, our earth belongs is called "the Milky way" galaxy. We have billions of stars in the Milky Way of which the sun of our solar system is just one. The sun is just one of about one hundred billion other stars most of which are bigger than the sun. With our sun, we have a solar system of which about nine planets revolve round (the sun). Our earth is just one of the nine planets, and the only planet that sustains any form of life, the only planet water exist in liquid form, the only planet where life can thrive. Yet the sun is more than one million times bigger than the earth. We have less than six billion people on the earth today, what more?

No other planet has been found habitable or conducive to life (of any form, plants or animals). Yet some of the stars have their own solar systems with planets orbiting them, just like nine planets are orbiting our sun in our own solar system. Another issue is that seven out of our planets have moons; some planets have as many as eighteen moons. This is exploring God’s creation, it is vast, and it stretches on and on. Scientists say that the universe is expanding. No one can find out the work of God, let’s see Eccl. 8:17
Then I beheld all the work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun: because though a man labor to seek it out, yet he shall not find it; yea farther; though a wise man think to know it, yet shall he not be able to find it.
The above scripture is not even talking about finding out God’s spiritual work but even the physical things He did, you are too small to grasp it.
