SUCCESS AND SPIRITUAL INVOCATION

Have you ever heard the story of men (and women) who got so frustrated in life as a result of poverty that they decided to use spiritual means to get wealth? I have heard the story of such men and women, they went to the spiritualist (called Babalawo in my native language), and the spiritualist promised them wealth and actually gave some real wealth. To every such wealth promised and delivered, there is always a strong attachment, a strong demand, and or commitment on the part of the seeker. To some they must pay with the life of their wives (or husbands); to some it is their first born child; to some their aged parents; to others it may be part of their body. Note that the part of the body so donated or sacrificed may continue to decay till the day of their death.
Getting wealth from the kingdom of the devil is never free; it is a big deal you must pay for it through your nose. The terrible aspect of it is this, they will not tell you what the condition will be; they would not know at the outset what their oracle would demand from the seeker. So you would not know what they will demand until you follow them to the point of no return, sometimes they give stupendous wealth with the condition that the seeker will not live beyond a certain number of years, commonly between one and nine years. The point of no return is the point you have entered into a strong covenant with them, to this you are bound, and so at that point, they name their price. As I pointed out earlier, the demand may be short life for you here on earth, or the life of your wife, or that of your aged mother, or your son or daughter, or even your potency if you are a man and your womb if you are a woman, meaning your inability to ever produce a biological child. In this case all your unborn children are said to be working for the money you are enjoying on this earth. Such person though rich will die barren. Please note this well in your heart; the devil can never give you wealth for free.
I heard the story of three men who went to an old spiritualist and told him they want wealth but not with the life of any of their loved ones or unborn children. This wealth that they want will not affect their sexual potency and ability to produce babies. The old spiritualist consulted his oracle that agreed that such wealth was possible, but the three of them would turn into birds first; as birds they would be made to fly to somewhere to bring some spiritual materials with which their wealth would be made. This was a good arrangement to them the two of them agreed to the deal, but the third declined. To cut the long story short, they both flew away as birds and flew back to the shrine at the appointed time, then the spiritualist tried to bring them back to their human form, he succeeded half way, so half of their bodies turned back to human the remaining half bird. He then remembered that there was something he forgot to bring to the shrine, he rushed back home to bring the remaining spiritual materials and on his way, he was knocked down by a fast moving vehicle and died instantly. Those wealth seekers remained half human, half birds: this is a true-life story. The detail given above may not be exact or complete, but the truth is that the spiritualist died and there was no one to bring back the two wealth seekers to complete human form and they died a most shameful death.
Another wealth seeker was told to sleep with a dirty old completely mad woman if he wants great wealth but this also backfired. He too was not only disgraced but also lost his life in the process.
Are you looking for money? The truth is that money is not evil, the Bible says, "The love of money is the root of all evil". Notice that it says the love of, not that it said money is. The truth is that money is neither good nor bad, money is a neuter. It is good when you use it for a good purpose, and of course, it is bad when you employ it to accomplish evil act.
Thomas Carlyle, the Scottish Essayist and historian, once declared that, "Adversity is hard on man: but for one man who can stand prosperity, there are a hundred men that will stand adversity." Many people want to be wealthy, but very few people can really handle wealth. Many will fumble when money comes, only few people can remain humble when real wealth enters their hands. You cannot know the true nature of a man until he is rich; a man is truly humble if with all his wealth, he is still meek and considerate of others. I know some brothers who seemed to be so humble and loving: when they got little money, they began to class themselves; others are no longer worthy of them, they are now superior to all others: meanwhile these are the people they use to play with before. This is pride; beware of this as you grow to become successful in life.

Breaking The Curses Of Life
How to break the curse upon your life

Through the WORD of GOD (which is also the thoughts of God) and this is higher than any man’s. See Isaiah 55: 8,9. When you speak the word of God into your life, curses gives way to blessings. You must speak the word of God directly to every area of your life that you feel the curse is working. Reply every curse with a blessing from the word of God, when evil thoughts come, you reply it with a positive, good, success and God provoking thoughts. If this is the line you want to take; then you are in for success; and you will experience success unlimited that no man can hinder. There is a warning however, you must decide that from now on, you will never think evil of any one again in your life time. Make it a life decision that you will never from now sit down to discuss evil about anybody, knowing that we always reap whatever we sow.
Our thoughts – a world of possibilities.
Do you know that the thought realm operates exactly as the world of computer Internet? Most of us know what Internet is and how it works. Internet is the international network of computers, meaning that computers are linked together with each other throughout the world; they are tapping information from each other and sharing information. It is the same with human minds. If you look at someone even a stranger with thoughts of love, have you noticed how he will respond with acts of kindness? Do you know that if you passionately hate someone and you always speak evil of that person, his response to you will be negative?
Just like we can through the internet e-mail our friends and loved ones, chat with them, make internet phone calls, browse for any information from any part of the world, download valuable information, read/hear the latest news and reports, get the latest discovery in any field and so on: we can also through our thinking and prayers care for our friends, bless them and know their conditions wherever they may be in this world. With your thoughts, you can communicate love or hatred to people and sooner or later, they will know whether you love them or not. You cannot hide your hatred for people for too long, even when your mouth is not saying ‘I hate you’, so long your mind is saying it, and he will soon know that you hate him. Your helpers can pick up your thoughts for the need of help and come around to offer the necessary help at a time you never expected. With you mind, (through thinking) you can browse for any information about any area of interest and if you are sensitive enough, you can get whatever you want through reading, research and your active thinking (even as you search). This is the reason the Bible says, "As a man thinketh in his heart so is he." Use your mind to learn how to make life say yes to your plan of success instead of no. Even if life gave you a no, learn how to patiently change the no of life to a yes. I have said it so many times in my real life messages that the no of life is not the final, sometimes you get seven no’s before a yes can be yours. So keep on believing, keep on working, your own no may be more than ten, (yours may be only one), just keep on, your yes will come, no matter how many no’s you ever got. Somebody said, "whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, he can achieve" and I add, no matter the amount of no’s he got initially.

Discovering your Purpose

We are all different, if you want to be a doctor because your friend is one, you may end your life as a failure. To discover the purpose of God for your life you must be able to answer (with the help of the Holy Spirit) the following questions:
Who am I?
Why am I here?
Where am I coming from and where am I going?
How will I get there
What will I do (or be doing) in order to get there?
You may need some days of prayer and separation from everything else to face these serious questions. Let me give you some important hints that will help you discover yourself.
Your desire: - The Holy Spirit uses our heart to desire those things He wants us to accomplish. This is different from the things that you like. When you like a thing, with the passing of time, you may forget it, but what you desire stays with you, it doesn’t come and go. You can test that thing you feel is your desire by considering some other things, if you find another thing you love more than your first desire, and then the first desire is not the real thing.
Peace: - When you have decided on what you think you want to do as a result of heart desire, you want to check if there is peace deep on the inside of you. When you have peace, the Holy Spirit is the giver of that peace. This peace is a sign of God’s consent; lack of peace is a red sign, stop and pray again.
The assignment from God has with it the people, the resources and the money to make you happy fulfilling that calling. When God gives you a vision to accomplish something, He also provides for the vision. Provision as someone define it, is the funds provided for the VISION. If you are not pursuing a VISION from God, He is not obligated to provide for you. His provision is for vision from the Holy Spirit and pursue it and then see the money rolling in, in millions.
Your daily activities: - You need the guidance of the Holy Spirit in your daily activities; you need Him to teach you to go about things even to the point of what to say at the right time.
When I started the work of the ministry as a full-time Pastor, I knew the ministry should be commissioned and I be ordained as the Pastor in charge. I prayed for God’s guidance, for many months, there seemed to be no response. Then I decided to use wisdom, find a man of God in my own special line of calling, make him my mentor and have him commission the ministry and also ordain me to the Gospel work. I soon discovered one Bishop, I started familiarizing myself with him and was making plans to go and propose to him that he should be the one to commission this ministry and also ordain me. One morning as I was praying, I heard a voice speak to my spirit the word, ‘S. A. ADEGBOYEGA’, I turned to see the person who spoke. It was early morning and my wife was still on bed, I went to her and told her what I heard as I prayed concerning the ordination, did she know anybody by that name, she, like me, could not remember anybody bearing that name. When I got to the office later in the morning, I asked one of my sons in the ministry who had come to visit me if he knows anybody by that name. He told it is Daddy SPAC, the General Overseer of Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church (SPAC), there and then, I knew that, the G.O. of SPAC would ordain me. Thank God for that encounter with the Holy Spirit, thank God I obeyed, things had not been the same since I met this great man of God. He is my prophet, my father and my mentor. I love him. God has blessed me so much through his laying on of hands upon me and through his prophetic declaration on me. I pray that the Lord will continue to use him for His glory; he will live long in the service of the Lord in Jesus name. Why have I shared this aspect of my life in this book? I share this in other to teach you how to seek the leading of the Holy Spirit in your life. If that Bishop had ordained me, I know, it wouldn’t be as glorious because that’s not the perfect will of God. When you flow in the perfect will of God, it becomes easier to succeed, sweat is reduced, effort is minimal and success is certain. Please, be led, allow the Spirit to have His way.
Read what Jesus said about the Holy Spirit in John 14:26
But the comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said to you.
The Holy Spirit is a gentle man, He doesn’t force His way through, and He only gives to you ideas that can help you to live a better life. When you allow Him to teach you and remind you of the word of God, when you make Him your senior partner, then you will become invincible. You become an unbeatable team (i.e. Himself and you).
One of the reasons why believers die in ghastly motor accident is because many are not sensitive enough to listen to the Holy Spirit. Many were warned by the Holy Spirit in them that they should not travel at that time, they had that ‘check’, that ‘note’ of warning, but they refused to yield. When you refuse to yield to the idea of the Holy Spirit, the end may be accident, death, loss of large sums of money etc.
After my University education and the one-year of Youth Service to my nation, I decided that I would venture into private business rather than working with any organization. With the help of God, I was able to put up a Garri processing plant. I started producing garri, I had all the machines needed for the production of garri in my factory and I was doing well. One day, a man who was my late daddy’s friend came and saw what I was doing; he was both surprised and happy. He promised to help me so that the business will get better. He suddenly came one day, about two weeks later to inform me that the best way to make more money from this business was to transfer the plant to one village near Akanran via Ibadan. I asked him, how can I get more money from a village than from a town? With sweet words and good promises, (e.g. good accommodation, ready made market, constant supply of raw materials – cassava), I decided to transfer the plant to the village contrary to the warning from the Holy Spirit inside me. The Holy Spirit was gently warning me, but I was enticed by the prospects, I had no peace yet I continued because I wanted to be rich in no time. When we got to the village, we didn’t spend up to two months when everything crumbled. The cassava-grating machine got damaged during a whirlwind; all sorts of terrible things began to happen. At the end of the second month, I was back to square one, no money, and no job and started begging to apply for job.
THE LEADING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, don’t play with it, don’t just dare to do anything contrary or else, you will suffer long for it. The most painful aspect of it all was when I heard that man who had taken me to the village tell others that I had not applied wisdom by deciding to come to the village. He did not know that I heard him, my brother Gbenga and I, had to quietly pack our things and leave the village.
Dear reader, don’t dare move until you have the clearance of the Holy Spirit, if you move contrary to what is deep down in your heart, you may end up failing or even dying – be careful. We blame God, we say that God is partial, yet God has put a ‘check’ in our hearts, we ignore the ‘check’, we resist His leading and guidance and yet we want to prosper.
Those who follow the deep-rooted conviction of their hearts are the ones who prosper, because they are the ones who know how to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. As long as you follow Him, you cannot fail, you cannot have accident, you cannot die young.

Discovering Who You Are

You are a spirit.
You were created in the image of God. The Bible says in John 4:24, that,
‘God is a spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.’
If you and I are made in the image and likeness of God, and God is a Spirit, then it follows that we are spirit beings. Even as the Bible says in Job 32: 8
But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.
What the scripture is saying in that place is that, there is a spirit in man’s body. Your body is not the real you, the real you is the spirit inside that body; you have a soul, you only live in that body. One day, your body will dissolve and wear out, and people will say you are dead. See what is written in Job 33: 4
The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.
The breath of the Almighty that gave me life is the Spirit of God, He gave me life, and that is, He gave me a spirit because my spirit is my life. One thing you should know right now is that spirits do not die, meaning that spirits do not cease to exist or get out of existence. Spirits live forever. You are a spirit, you have a soul and the body is only a temporary house that carries you about in this physical plane. Without the body, you will still live, but not in this physical world, you will live in another realm of life. Death (that is the physically shedding this body away) is not the end of man: death is only a transition, it changing from active participation on earth to being an active participant in another realm, or another world. This other world may be the one controlled by The Almighty God called the kingdom of light or the one controlled by the devil called the kingdom of darkness. The choice is absolutely your. You chose and decide your next destination after your departure from earth. The decision is made right here on earth before departure. The choice is yours.
That is why the Bible says,
"It is appointed unto man to die ones and after death, judgment." Hebrews 9:27
If physical death is the end of man, why and how will he be judged after death? This implies that after death, which is only a separation from this physical world, there is judgment somewhere beyond this earth. You and I will face it, not in this body, this body would have decayed, but we will face the judgment. What is your own preparation towards this judgment?
You are a spirit, 1Tessallonians 5:23 tells us,
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
God is a spirit, you are a spirit, you cannot interact with God with your body; your body cannot touch God only your spirit can.
The earlier you understood who you really are, the easier it becomes for you to climb through the ladder of success. Let me emphasize that you are not that body you see each time you look through the mirror. You are not the mind that thinks, you are more than that because you can control it. Yes, you can control what you do with your mind; what you eat, what you wear and what you do with you body. If you cannot control your body, then it means that your body is the dominant part of you, and you cannot attain to a lasting success. The bible says, ‘in my body dwells nothing good’ see Romans 7:17 and Romans 7: 24. To have a good success you must have power over your body and your mind; you must be able to put a final stop to every urge that comes from you emotion (in your soul) to your body and tell it to stop and it will stop. For example, you have power to stop the urge that prompts you to commit adultery with another man’s wife. You can tell your body, "listen sin doesn’t live here anymore," and it will hear and obey you. That body is not you, that emotion of lust to sleep around with people of the opposite sex is not the real you. The real you, if you are born again, doesn’t sin. Why don’t you allow the real you to have an upper hand over your body and soul, this is what signal real success. Please always remember this that your body is not you, though you live inside that body, you need that body to operate in this physical realm. The body must not be allowed to dictate to you; it must not be permitted to dominate you in anyway. Success starts from self-mastery, if you cannot master your body and your mind, then you cannot master life and get success out of it. Please understand this point very well; this is very crucial to your having a good success on the earth. No lasting success can be achieved until you’ve mastered the body and dominated the mind completely.
Yes you have to dominate you mind by the word of God, and that is why Lord Jesus Christ said in Matthew 4:4 that,
"Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceed out of the mouth of God."
This means there is something more than bread, something more than your body or its needs, because bread caters for the body. The most important things are the WORDS that proceed from God’s mouth, and they are all written in the Bible. These are the things that cater for your spirit. Please get it in; understand it; it is very important.
You are a spirit.

One thing you should know right now is that spirits do not die, meaning that spirits do not cease to exist or get out of existence. Spirits live forever. You are a spirit, you have a soul and the body is only a temporary house that carries you about in this physical plane. Without the body, you will still live, but not in this physical world, you will live in another realm of life. Death (that is the physically shedding this body away) is not the end of man: death is only a transition, it changing from active participation on earth to being an active participant in another realm, or another world. This other world may be the one controlled by The Almighty God called the kingdom of light or the one controlled by the devil called the kingdom of darkness. The choice is absolutely your. You chose and decide your next destination after your departure from earth. The decision is made right here on earth before departure. The choice is yours.
That is why the Bible says,
"It is appointed unto man to die ones and after death, judgment." Hebrews 9:27
If physical death is the end of man, why and how will he be judged after death? This implies that after death, which is only a separation from this physical world, there is judgment somewhere beyond this earth. You and I will face it, not in this body, this body would have decayed, but we will face the judgment. What is your own preparation towards this judgment?
You are a spirit, 1Tessallonians 5:23 tells us,
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
God is a spirit, you are a spirit, you cannot interact with God with your body; your body cannot touch God only your spirit can.
The earlier you understood who you really are, the easier it becomes for you to climb through the ladder of success. Let me emphasize that you are not that body you see each time you look through the mirror. You are not the mind that thinks, you are more than that because you can control it. Yes, you can control what you do with your mind; what you eat, what you wear and what you do with you body. If you cannot control your body, then it means that your body is the dominant part of you, and you cannot attain to a lasting success. The bible says, ‘in my body dwells nothing good’ see Romans 7:17 and Romans 7: 24. To have a good success you must have power over your body and your mind; you must be able to put a final stop to every urge that comes from you emotion (in your soul) to your body and tell it to stop and it will stop. For example, you have power to stop the urge that prompts you to commit adultery with another man’s wife. You can tell your body, "listen sin doesn’t live here anymore," and it will hear and obey you. That body is not you, that emotion of lust to sleep around with people of the opposite sex is not the real you. The real you, if you are born again, doesn’t sin. Why don’t you allow the real you to have an upper hand over your body and soul, this is what signal real success. Please always remember this that your body is not you, though you live inside that body, you need that body to operate in this physical realm. The body must not be allowed to dictate to you; it must not be permitted to dominate you in anyway. Success starts from self-mastery, if you cannot master your body and your mind, then you cannot master life and get success out of it. Please understand this point very well; this is very crucial to your having a good success on the earth. No lasting success can be achieved until you’ve mastered the body and dominated the mind completely.
Yes you have to dominate you mind by the word of God, and that is why Lord Jesus Christ said in Matthew 4:4 that,
"Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceed out of the mouth of God."
This means there is something more than bread, something more than your body or its needs, because bread caters for the body. The most important things are the WORDS that proceed from God’s mouth, and they are all written in the Bible. These are the things that cater for your spirit. Please get it in; understand it; it is very important.

The Power Of Your Thought
The Power of Your Thoughts: -

What you think can either make you or mar you. Infact, thoughts are "things", they are "forces". You know that forces have the ability to do work; they have the ability to compel things to happen. Thoughts are spiritual because when they become imaginations and are positively directed, they are potent. Thoughts link us directly with spirit realm; we touch the spirit world only through our thought life. See Proverbs 4:23
Keep thy heart will all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
One translation put it the way I like; it says,"…out of it are forces of life".
When you need the force of life to bring any change to any situation; that force of change must commence from your heart. When Jesus said, "from the time of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of God suffereth violence, the violence taketh it by force" Matt.11: 12. He was not talking about the force of arms, or the force of physical strength but He was referring to the forces of your mind. That is why Romans 12:2 says
"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect, will of God.
You need to renew your mind, why? So that it may be able to give you a new strength: and that greater forces maybe produced from your thoughts. When the forces of your concentrated thoughts (on success) combines with your positive confession, then you can be sure of an inescapable success.
Your thoughts can make life say yes instead of no, it affects your attitude, which is the dominant factor of charisma. The better your thoughts, the more charismatic you become. Though you may not be physically attractive as some others, yet everybody will always want you. You attract success even as you also attract people.
Many people have died as a result of thinking themselves to death. Some have literally thought themselves into failure. The bible says, "As a man thinketh in his heart so is he". If you think you will die, then you will die soon; if you want to succeed but think you cannot, then you will not. If you love good health and you are always thinking sickness, seeing yourself on sick bed, you will soon fall into sickness.
What do you when evil thoughts come? Renew your mind with the word of God; you must intentionally stop the negative thinking. Change it to a positive thinking. See yourself healthy, see yourself in abundance, see yourself as a success, believe what you see about yourself (in your thoughts), and then say it out loud. You shall make it.

IT IS FINISHED

Jesus spoke the words "it is finished" on the cross when He was about to die for our sins. He had finished the work of redemption (i.e. salvation, deliverance, healing, prosperity, safety etc.): He completed it successfully. He had done all that is required, He had finished the work, and He had successfully completed the task of making us the sons of God. All there is for any man to be saved or delivered or prosperous is up to him/her. God’s part had been completed; God’s righteous requirement for sins’ penalty had been paid. What more? Nothing, but to only believe and receive the grace.
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lust, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ;
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquities, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works
All you need to do is to receive the grace of God. The grace is made available to all men; you only need to receive it. It is finished, I mean, you have no work to do, only discover what He has done and made available to you. Your success is finished; your victory is certain. Jesus has gotten the victory; Jesus has gotten the success.
He said, ‘all power in heaven and on earth is given unto me, go ye therefore … I am with you always’. When you have all power in heaven and on earth, it means you have all success, all victory, health, prosperity, dominion, strength, grace and wisdom.
Many are struggling; no, you don’t need to. Just find out the victory that Christ has made available and capitalize on it. Please note, I am not saying that you will not work hard and fight (for there is no short cut to a life of success), but when you fight, you fight in God’s strength. Jesus said, ‘it is finished’. In considering this statement, I want you to know something about the Almighty God; He said in Isaiah 46:8 – 10, that He is the Lord that declares the end from the beginning. This means that God knows the end from the beginning: it means God finishes before He starts; He completes before He commences; He ends a thing before He starts it. In Revelation, Jesus said, ‘I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the ending’. God is saying to you as you read this book; if you allow Him (the Almighty) to begin a work of grace in your life; then you can be very sure that He has completed that work. I know it because God can never start a work and leave it half done. God can never begin a work without ending it. If He starts, it means He has finished it before He started it. Please understand this, if your life is in His hands, and He has really started that thing you are doing (I mean, He initiated that project, business, ministry or job), then I can happily report to you that, that ‘thing’ have a very good ending. Yes, if what you are doing originated from God, then I want to congratulate you because if you follow through, it is impossible for you to fail. You cannot fail; I know it. Since God is the starter, He has finished it before He started you. That is why Hebrew 12:2 says Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith. He is the beginner and the finisher of my work, my faith. He is the Author and the perfecter of my life Hallelujah. He doesn’t commence a thing without having finished it. He can never fail because he already finished it to a successful ending before He stated it. Any time God starts you out on any project, you can be 100% sure that you are already a success irrespective of the present situation. Please see this, believe it, know it and be encouraged.
Dear friend, I urge you to be rest assured in your spirit: that He has done it for you: He has finished it. All you need to do is accept it. IT IS UP TO YOU TO ACCEPT IT.
