You are loaded with possibilities

You are loaded with possibilities
By Adenuga Sunday Joseph

If you are in a covenant relationship with God as a son, then you are a creature of great worth. You are priceless and a treasure of inestimable value. Stop looking down on yourself; stop thinking small, you are valuable. Talking about your value, we shall look into the Bible to see it from God’s perspective. This is talking about you as well as me: God loves us equally. Any time you read the Bible He is talking about you, believe it, God is not partial.
In the first place, God sees your value, even as a falling man, He sent His son, Jesus Christ to come and die for your sin. From John 3:16 we read
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

God loves you:-

All over the Bible, one clear message is, God’s love for man (you), His love is directed to man because of his value (or worth). You are worth so much to God, why? You are worth so much because you are unique; you are created in God’s image. When you study God’s creatures, you will see from the Bible that man is rated highest. Man was made (or created) in the image of God. God spoke all the things created in the universe into existence. In Genesis chapter one, you will read again and again "… and God said, ‘let there be …’ and there was …" the stars (galaxies) were actually spoken to existence by God on the fourth day of creation, the sun and all stars, in all the about one hundred billion galaxies were created by God’s word on the fourth day. See Gen. 1:14-19
On the sixth day, God created the man – Adam (our origin). In creating man, let’s see what God did. God said, "let us make man …" Meaning, God used His word. Then God formed man using His hand (as a great porter) to mould man, meaning, God used His hand and the sand of the earth. Then God breathe into man, the breath of life, meaning, God used His breathe/spirit (see Job 33: 4). Note the materials God used in creating man: -
His word: His hand and sand: and His breath (or spirit).
You want to compare these valuable materials with the one He used to create all other creatures. In creating all other creatures, living things and non-living things, He only used one material – His word.

You are wonderful:

Judging your value, from David’s perspective in Psalm 139:14-18.
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest part of the earth
Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being imperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
How precious are thy thoughts unto me, o God! How great is the sum of them!
If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.
Know this and keep it in your heart that God loves you and values you and rates you high. His thoughts of you are precious; you can’t sum up all His good thoughts towards you. God said in Jeremiah 29:11,12
For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end

God hears you:

Then shall ye call upon me and shall go and pray unto me, and I will harken unto you.
When someone or something is not valuable, you don’t think about him/it. You are so precious, He said, ‘ye shall call on me and I will hear you’. Many do not understand the privilege and opportunity to call on God and have him to say yes all the time. If you (let’s assume now that you are an ordinary citizen of your country), you want to have an audience with the president of your country. Let met ask you, how easy will it be for you to easily secure his attention? In a country like Nigeria, it’s almost an impossible task; they want to be very sure you’re not a security risk.
But now we are talking about the president of the universe, the one who oversees uncountable stars; the one who can dethrone and enthrone any president of the world; the Almighty God. He said, "and you shall call upon me and I will harken", and God is not partial. ‘You’ here refers to anybody and everybody who calls, in God’s acceptable way. If you understand this, you will really appreciate it. For me, as a Pastor, a busy one at that, I cannot see everyone that may want to see me at the very time he/she needs me because of tight and busy schedule. It is not so with God. You are so valuable; you can get His attention at anytime and in any place you find yourself. You get to Him, life and direct. Prayer is God’s hot line, one’s you put the call across; you will be through to God on a direct line of one on one. This information should do something in you, put confidence in you; make you happy and sure, that you are secured, anytime, anywhere. The good news about it is that God is not partial about it. Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13) Note, it is WHOSOEvER, and that includes you. Always remember, GOD IS NOT PARTIAL. What He has done to one He can do to another. He loves us equally, but I can endear myself to His heart that commits Him to love me more than you. You can always do something that will make you to get His affection easily. It depends on you more than you can imagine; I mean what you get from God depends on you to a large extent. Please understand this. God loved Solomon (2Samuel 12: 24,25), so does He love you John3: 16, but the Bible says Solomon loved the Lord that he (Solomon) gave God a thousand burnt offering see 1Kings3: 3. Solomon endeared himself to God’s heart by a cheerful and generous giving. God had to respond to that love by blessing him above every man since no man has given in such a generous way before.
